This new system, designed for sample processing and storage, comprises a reusable base rack and cover, along with a refill system made from 99% in-house renewed materials.

The EFC Refill Rack is constructed with polypropylene (PP) base and cover components, chosen for their durability and recyclability. The refill system utilises renewed materials sourced from Micronic’s production facility in the Netherlands, undergoing rigorous quality control to maintain product integrity. According to Micronic, the EFC Refill Rack offers significant environmental benefits. The company reports a 61% reduction in eco-costs after 10 uses and a 69% lower carbon footprint compared to traditional alternatives. These figures suggest potential for laboratories seeking to minimise their environmental impact.

The EFC Refill Rack is designed to operate within a temperature range of -80°C to +100°C, accommodating various laboratory conditions. It is currently available in a 96-well format for 1.40ml tubes, compatible with The EFC Refill Rack joins Micronic’s existing EFC Rack Range, which includes the EFC Racks RM launched earlier this year. Both product lines emphasise the use of renewed materials in their construction.

For more information, visit: http://www.micronic.com

Digital issue: Please click here for more information

[39

post-22304","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-product-news
