This new method allows the measurement of glucose in serum, plasma, urine and cerebrospinal fluid samples. In order to verify the performance of the glucose-hexokinase measurement procedure, it is recommended to use the Biochemistry Control Serum level I and level II where the value assigned to glucose-hexokinase is the same as for the current glucose method (oxidase\/peroxidase).
