Rapid test for norovirus
The number of reported norovirus cases is on the increase, with explosive outbreaks of this highly contagious pathogen leading to acute gastroenteritis. To improve outbreak management and help reduce transmission of the virus, a rapid assay for the detection of norovirus in faecal samples is now available.
