Sapio Sciences unveils partner programme to boost research and diagnostic capabilities
In a move set to advance the lab informatics landscape, Sapio Sciences has launched its Partner Programme. This initiative aims to foster a robust ecosystem of technology vendors, service providers, and resellers, equipping them with essential resources to deliver cutting-edge solutions for scientists.
The Sapio Partner Programme is designed to certify service partners in the deployment and support of Sapio’s lab informatics platform. This certification process is crucial for ensuring that customers can effectively streamline their operations, increase throughput, accelerate discovery, and meet compliance requirements across various scientific domains, including biotech and chemistry research, clinical and molecular diagnostics, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and contract research.
Kevin Cramer, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sapio Sciences, emphasised the significance of this programme: “The full potential of a genuinely configurable lab informatics platform is realized through the depth and breadth of our partners. Sapio’s open approach allows a huge ecosystem of partners – from lab instrument vendors to specialist ISVs – to configure, deploy, and manage the Sapio platform, and address
each client’s precise needs.”
Reshaping partner dynamics
Cramer further elaborated on the programme’s transformative nature: “For too long, customers have been underserved by the one-sided relationships imposed by lab informatics vendors on their partners. The Sapio Partner Program changes this dynamic, creating a balanced and collaborative environment. By collaborating on our fully configurable platform, scalable data architecture, and unified user experience, Sapio and its partners empower scientists in their truly heroic work.”
The programme encompasses three distinct partner ecosystems:
1. Technology: This category includes hardware, instrument, software, and AI vendors who enhance the Sapio platform through integration and specialised solution development.
2. Services: Advisory and implementation partners guide customers through the lab automation process and deployment.
3. Reseller: Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Consultant Resellers who resell Sapio’s solutions and provide additional value through customisation, integration, training, and support services.
A cornerstone of the Sapio Partner Programme is its emphasis on training and certification. This approach guarantees that joint customers receive the highest possible quality and service from Sapio’s partner ecosystem. The programme offers three levels of certification:
1. Sapio Certified Platform Engineer: Awarded to individuals demonstrating expertise in designing and implementing Sapio solutions.
2. Sapio Verified Deployment: Bestowed upon deployment projects that meet or exceed specific Sapio-defined criteria and milestones.
3. Sapio Certified Partner: Granted to partner companies that meet specific ongoing audited criteria and demonstrate a high level of expertise and competence in Sapio solutions.
Comprehensive partner support
Andrew Wyatt, Chief Growth Officer at Sapio Sciences, outlined the programme’s benefits: “The programme benefits include access to Sapio experts, training materials, platform roadmaps, and marketing and sales support. We aim to ensure our partners are fully ready to deploy all aspects of Sapio’s highly configurable platform and to professionally support clients in achieving their business goals.”
For the medical community, this programme represents a significant step forward in enhancing research capabilities and diagnostic processes. By fostering a collaborative ecosystem of partners well-versed in Sapio’s lab informatics platform, researchers and clinicians can expect more efficient, integrated, and tailored solutions to support their work.
