Sysmex Europe to relocate HQ to Hamburg
The Sysmex Group, international manufacturer and provider of innovative analytical instruments and services for laboratory diagnostics, is on a continuous course of growth and innovation. To accommodate this development, Sysmex Europe will relocate its headquarters for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) from Norderstedt to Hamburg.
As part of this, the central organisation Sysmex Europe GmbH, together with the subsidiary Sysmex Deutschland GmbH, which is responsible for the German market, Sysmex Inostics GmbH – a specialist in personalised diagnostics in oncology – and the Sysmex RDCE (Research and Development Center Europe), will be housed in a state-of-the-art office and laboratory building in Hamburg.
More than 12,300 m² will provide employees of the four companies with ample space and an inspiring working environment in one building. The building is geared towards a project-oriented and cross-organisational work culture, thus promoting flexible and agile collaboration.
“The new building is a clear commitment to Hamburg as a location for business and technology and a visible sign of Sysmex’s sustainable and steady growth in the EMEA region,” said Alain Baverel, President & CEO of Sysmex Europe GmbH.
A sizable training centre provides space for the Sysmex Academy, which will offer training for customers from the EMEA region as well as employee training. This is also where the digital content for the established online offering from Sysmex Academy is produced.
In the state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, diagnostic analysis systems will be available for research and development purposes and for field testing. Among other things, new processes and applications of Sysmex products will be tested and refined here.
“With the new building, our vision of a futureoriented and sustainable working environment will become a reality. State-of-the-art conference and communication technology and digital solutions enable new ways of customeroriented cooperation,” said Stefanie Schaal, Managing Director of Sysmex Europe.
