TESTA Analytical partners with Mazet & Co to expand market reach
German flowmeter specialist TESTA Analytical has formed a strategic partnership with French distributor Mazet & Co to expand market reach across French-speaking regions in Europe and North Africa. The collaboration aims to deliver advanced flow measurement solutions for liquid chromatography applications, addressing growing demand for high-precision monitoring systems in analytical and preparative laboratories.
The partnership between TESTA Analytical and Mazet & Co represents a significant expansion in the distribution of specialised flowmeter technology designed for liquid chromatography systems. The agreement specifically targets French-speaking markets across Europe and North Africa, regions where demand for precision analytical instrumentation continues to grow.
Carlo Dessy, Managing Director of TESTA Analytical, noted: “Flow rate is one of the most important parameters in any liquid chromatography system, it determines retention time or volume and has by nature a major influence on reproducibility.”
Thermal flow sensor technology drives innovation
The company’s flagship Prep Flowmeter covers flow rates from 1 to 650 ml/min, utilising thermal flow sensor technology combined with proprietary algorithms to convert temperature differences into precise flow rate measurements. This non-invasive monitoring approach eliminates interference with analytical processes whilst maintaining exceptional accuracy and sensitivity.
The Liquid Chromatography Flowmeter offers particular advantages for laboratory applications, including HPLC pump calibration, system troubleshooting, and continuous validation of instrumental performance. Its compact design and USB power connectivity enhance laboratory integration whilst supporting real-time monitoring requirements.
Market expansion reflects growing compliance demands
Farokh Mazet, Managing Director of Mazet & Co, highlighted the strategic rationale behind the partnership: “Following extensive testing by selected customers we have identified growing demand for reliable, high-precision flow measurement solutions that help laboratories improve performance and compliance.”
