Extended Chromsystems Assay for Newborn Screening now Available

The assay expands the parameter menu to 62 analytes in a single run, providing laboratories with broader diagnostic information for metabolic disorder and newborn screening. The extended menu now includes adenosine (Ado) and 2’-deoxyadenosine (dAdo), supporting the detection of ADA-SCID (Adenosine Deaminase Severe Combined Immunodeficiency). By consolidating more clinically relevant analytes into one workflow, laboratories can obtain comprehensive results while maintaining efficient processes.
