Navigo Proteins appoints new managing director for Navigo Pure
Navigo Proteins has announced the appointment of Dr Florian Settele as Managing Director of Navigo Pure, its wholly owned subsidiary specialising in downstream bioprocessing.
Role and remit
Based in Halle (Saale), Germany, Navigo Pure develops affinity ligands and chromatography solutions built on its proprietary Precision Capturing® platform, supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturers seeking to improve purification efficiency and reduce process complexity. In his new position, Dr Settele will oversee the company’s efforts to consolidate and extend its standing as a supplier of affinity chromatography products, with a continued focus on developing catalogue and customised offerings intended to support scalable, cost-effective biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Background and experience
Dr Settele has been with Navigo Proteins since 2011, occupying roles across research and development, external collaborations, commercial alliances and business unit leadership. Prior to joining the company, he worked at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). He holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Heidelberg and subsequently completed
an MBA at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Most recently, he served as Head of Navigo Pure.
