Process Global Research introduces AxisOne, an AI-powered platform for global R&D collaboration

Process Global Research Inc. has launched AxisOne, an AI-driven platform designed to serve as an integrated operating system for research and development outsourcing across the life sciences. The platform went live in April 2026, with a public demonstration staged at the AACR Annual Meeting in San Diego.

Addressing persistent inefficiencies in laboratory outsourcing

Laboratory outsourcing in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostic, and academic settings has long depended on informal networks, manual vetting processes, and fragmented project management. Pricing opacity, inconsistent oversight, and the coordination burden of multi-site studies have compounded these inefficiencies. AxisOne is designed to address these structural problems by consolidating laboratory discovery, feasibility assessment, milestone-based project governance, and compliance documentation onto a single platform.

At launch, the platform provides access to qualified laboratories in more than 30 countries.

Core functional capabilities

The platform covers the full research project lifecycle. Researchers upload study requirements, methods, or goals, and the system routes work to laboratories matched by capability, certification, instrumentation, turnaround time, and geography. Key features include accelerated feasibility assessment, milestone-linked payment release tied to verified deliverables, and centralised coordination with real-time status visibility across single- and multisite studies. Compliance workflows are aligned to ISO 20387 and CAP/CLIA standards, supporting documentation, traceability, and regulatory rigour throughout project execution.

Grounded in two decades of operational experience

AxisOne is built on the operational infrastructure iProcess has developed over more than 22 years of global research support. The company supplies ethically sourced, clinically annotated human biospecimens alongside integrated laboratory services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and diagnostic clients through a pre-qualified network spanning more than 30 countries. That foundation – covering sample handling, study execution, quality management, and cross-border logistics – underpins the new platform.

“Placing R&D work with an external lab should be as structured and trackable as running it in-house,” said Asker Ahmed, Executive Director of iProcess Global Research. “AxisOne gives researchers the tools to find the right lab, set clear milestones, and maintain full visibility from start to finish. As we expand the platform’s AI capabilities, it will become the default infrastructure for how global R&D gets done.”

Availability and next steps

AxisOne is available immediately. Organisations can access the platform to search for laboratory partners, schedule demonstrations, or register as a laboratory partner. Additional AI-driven features are under development, with the stated long-term goal of establishing AxisOne as the default operating layer for global R&D collaboration.
